In addition to my tax practice, I am a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. I have more than 25 years of experience with financial and tax issues, including more than 10 years in helping couples deal with the financial issues during a dissolution of marriage.

I prefer to deal with couples who understand that this dissolution needs to be accomplished with as little disharmony as possible. Bickering over financial issues can be cathartic, but it rarely ends up helping to resolve the situation. Having a level head, a clear mind and putting forth realistic positions are the best ways to resolve the financial difficulties involved in a martial dissolution.

While I have been engaged as a "hired gun" and am very good at advancing my clients positions both on paper and in court, I prefer to work with both individuals to come up with a just and equitable division of assets.

My major emphasis and concern is for the welfare of the children. While couples may no longer wish to remain together, their children must always be the first priority and I work with my clients to help with a division of assets which will benefit the children so that they do not become casualties of divorce.
