As a Certified Public Accountant, my responsibility to you is to insure that you pay the least amount of taxes that are legally due. I am an aggressive CPA and know the system well. I know what tax strategies will save you money and still pass muster with the taxing authorities, and avoid those items that may attract the undue attention of the IRS. For those who have complied with the tax laws, I stress the need to look at the future and see what steps can be taken now to avoid taxing surprises down the road. For those of you who have not complied (such as non-filers), I make one uncompromising promise – I will help you dig out of the hole you are in and get you back on track only one time; should you continue your behavior after we resolve the issue at hand, you are on your own.

I work with all tax issues including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of all corporate, partnership, estates, trusts, individual, sales and employment tax returns (including prior years returns);
  • Installment agreements for payment of overdue taxes;
  • Representing clients in tax audits;
  • Resolving tax issues between the taxing authorities and taxpayers;
  • Helping non-filers get back into the system;
  • Structuring of financial transactions to help minimize taxes, and
  • Tax planning.

The following two pieces of wisdom may give you a further flavor of how I conduct my tax practice. First, it is my hope that every one of my clients has an April 15th tax bill of $1 million or more. That can only mean you made an income of $3-5 million and I am very sorry, but the law requires you to give some of it away to the government. My heart bleeds for you that you only have $2-4 million in take-home pay.

Next, in order to give you complete and accurate advice, I must know everything about you. There seems to be two most secretive items in our lives. The first is your sex life – and that's something that I don't care to know about. The other item is your money. I need to know all about your financial circumstances, including your desires and hopes for the future. I will ask you to disclose everything regarding your money/income/resources in order to give me a complete picture of your financial health (it's kind of like getting undressed in the doctor's office). If after we meet you are not comfortable with that level of inquiry, there will be no engagement between us.
